This privacy policy explains how Parsight accesses and uses your Google Drive data when you choose to connect your Google Drive account to our service.

What We Access from Google Drive

Files You Select

• What we access: Only the files and folders you explicitly select for document processing
• Permission level: Read-only access to your Google Drive files
• How we use it: We download selected files to our secure storage for workflow processing
• What we DON'T do: We do not scan, access, or read any files you haven't explicitly selected

Your Email Address

• What we access: Your email address and basic profile information
• How we use it: To show you which Google account is connected in your settings

How We Use Your Data

File Processing

1. You select files from Google Drive through our file picker
2. We download those files to our secure AWS S3 storage
3. Files are processed through your selected document analysis workflows
4. Processed results are stored in your Parsight account
5. Your original files in Google Drive remain unchanged

Access Credentials

• We store encrypted OAuth access tokens to maintain your Google Drive connection
• Tokens are encrypted using industry-standard Fernet encryption
• Tokens are stored securely in our PostgreSQL database
• Tokens are only used when you explicitly initiate a workflow
• Tokens are immediately deleted when you disconnect Google Drive

Data Storage & Security

Where Your Data Is Stored

• Google Drive Tokens: Encrypted in our PostgreSQL database
• Downloaded Files: Secure AWS S3 storage with access controls
• File Metadata: Our database for tracking processing history

Security Measures

• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• OAuth tokens encrypted at rest
• Access controls ensure you can only see your organization's data
• Regular security updates and monitoring

Data Retention

• Files: Retained according to your Parsight account settings
• Tokens: Deleted immediately when you disconnect Google Drive
• Metadata: Retained for audit purposes

Your Rights & Controls

You Can:

• Disconnect anytime: Remove Parsight's access from your Parsight settings
• Revoke access: Disconnect from Google Account settings
• Delete your data: Contact us to request deletion of all your data
• View connections: See which Google account is connected in settings

We Do NOT:

• Access files you haven't selected
• Share your Google Drive files with anyone
• Use your files for AI training or any purpose other than your workflows
• Store your Google Drive password (we use OAuth tokens)
• Modify or delete files in your Google Drive

Google API Services User Data Policy

Parsight's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only access Google Drive data necessary for features you explicitly request
• We do not use Google Drive data for advertising
• We do not allow humans to read your data unless:
  • You explicitly consent for a specific support case
  • It's necessary for security (investigating abuse)
  • Required by law

Third-Party Services

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

We use AWS S3 for secure file storage. Files are stored in access-controlled buckets.

No Other Sharing

We do NOT share your Google Drive data with any other third parties. We do NOT sell or rent your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• Post a notice in the application
• Send an email to your registered address for material changes

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data:

1. Disconnect Google Drive from your Parsight settings
2. Contact us to request full data deletion
3. We will delete all your data within 30 days

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU users
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for California users
• Other applicable data protection laws
